I Haven't Received a Response from My Primary Care Provider
Not heard back on your request yet? Here's how to check your request status, follow up with your provider, and get help if needed.
If you haven't heard back from your primary care provider, don't worry — there are a few easy ways to check on your request and follow up directly without needing to call the office.
Step 1 — Check your request status
Log in to your Docnote account and navigate to Requests to view the current status of your request. Here's what each status means:
- 🔵 Pending Verification — your provider has received your request and it is being reviewed
- 🟠 In Progress — your provider is actively working on it
- 🔴 Pending Payment — payment is required before your request can be completed
- 🟢 Completed — your request is done and your document is ready to download
Step 2 — Send a message through Office Communication
If your request is In Progress and you'd like an update, you can message your provider directly through Docnote without calling the office:
- Log in and navigate to Requests
- Open the relevant request
- Scroll down to the Office Communication section
- Type your message and select Send — your provider will receive an email notification and can reply directly through Docnote
Step 3 — Contact support
If you have sent a message and still haven't received a response and are concerned about the status of your request, our support team can look into it for you:
