# I Didn't Receive My Verification Code — What Should I Do?

## Not receiving your Docnote verification code? Try these quick steps to resend it and confirm your contact details are correct.

If your Docnote verification code hasn't arrived, don't worry — this is usually easy to resolve in just a few steps. Follow the steps below before reaching out to support.

**Steps to troubleshoot a missing verification code:**

1. Select the **Resend** button to request a new verification code.
2. Double-check that your **email address or mobile number** was entered correctly — a small typo is the most common cause.
3. If your internet connection is slow, the code may take a few moments to arrive. **Wait at least one minute** before trying again.
4. Still not receiving it? **Contact a Docnote support agent** for further assistance.

 💡 **Tip:** If you registered with a landline instead of a mobile number, verification codes are sent to your email — make sure to check there first.
