# How to Update Your Profile Information in Docnote

## Learn how to update your email, phone number, password, and health details in your Docnote account settings.

You can update your account and profile information at any time directly within your Docnote account. Here's where to find everything.

**To update your email, phone number, or password:**

1. Log in to your **Docnote account**.
2. Go to the **top right corner** and select the **person icon** (or your name if using a computer).
3. Select **Account Settings**.
4. Edit your **email address**, **phone number**, or **password** as needed and save your changes.

**To update your health card number or date of birth (Patients):**

1. Log in to your **Docnote account**.
2. Go to the **top right corner** and select the **person icon** (or your name if using a computer).
3. Select **Profile**.
4. Update your **health card number** or **date of birth** as needed and save your changes.

**To update your name, roles, or permissions (Office/Provider):**

1. Log in to your **Docnote account**.
2. Go to the **top right corner** and select the **person icon** or your name.
3. Select **Profile**.
4. Update your **name, roles, or permissions** as needed and save your changes.
